Dear Friends-

    I write to you this day, with extreme concern for America's future and most importantly, its future leaders. In the past 8 years I've taken the initiative to pursue an important journey. Inspired by survivor stories of the complex issues involved with children in foster care, I've concluded that there is a serious need for reform in the procedural process that govern the safety and mental health of America's children. I'm not talking about a mere proposal, but I am personally declaring a state of emergency with no authority to do so, except for that of my own testimony and the testimony of so many others!

    For seven years, while in the foster care system I was involuntarily committed to take psychotropic medications for ADHD, Depression, and Anxiety. In those seven years, beginning "immediately" after I entered care, I had been placed on some of the most powerful of them all without an evaluation by a psychologist. Accorded to adults, however, there are protections providing that "No state shall over-ride ones liberty interest, unless they may prove some state interest to do so" Unfortunately, children in foster care are not afforded these rights. In such cases, their guardians may with the order of a prescribing doctor or psychologist, administer psychotropic medications to foster children.
    Thus, my number one concern is safety! Procedure does not provide any form of training or regulation to guardians with respect to the administration of medications. Forced medication with respect to ADHD or simply anxiety or depression, defeats the whole purpose for which the drug was intended in the first place. State law in Oregon provides: ""Psychotropic medication" means medication the prescribed intent of which is to affect or alter thought processes, mood or behavior". In such cases, a guardian, even- may receive emotional relief from administering medications, almost as if to "Shove a sock in it". Without providing any training or regulating to guardians, foster children become subject to neglect and abuse and are deprived of any hopes of future prosperity by the very system that was intended to protect them.


    My second concern is Government Waist! The largest obstacle for me through my journey, I would have to say, was to overcome the International, Political, and Financial Terrorism that was directed at me. I'm talking huge financial interests of the Corporate and Trade world creating an umbrella resistance over government practice! Today, when we think of the best interest of a child, most often we think that money can buy happiness and heeling. Unfortunately, that concept in no longer and will never be a solution to the development of the child if we continue to allow the Corporate and Trade Realm Influence our governments policies'. Instead they replace unconditional love and guidance with technologies', drugs, and violence putting today's economy in a lot of trouble, destroying millions of dreams!

    With that said, join me in my fight to help protect America's future leaders by preserving their voices and their dignity!
